Day Trips

As part of our holiday activity scheme we have organised a series of day trips for children attending the scheme.


🚌 Destinations:

  1. London Sightseeing Tour - Wednesday 31st July 2024

  2. Wales, Brecon Beacons -Wednesday 7th August 2024 (not suitable for pushchairs and people with difficulties walking)

  3. Midlands Safari Park & Ride-Tuesday 13th August 2024

  4. Skegness Seaside - Monday 19th August 2024


📋 How to Book:


  • Please complete the ONLINE BOOKING FORM  here or download the form below and return to us at info@thecommunityfoundation.org.uk. Add the names of all attending and tick the relevant trip box below for  each person indicating which trip they will attend.

  • Max 6 persons per family per trip.


💸 Fees:

  • Trips are free for children attending our Summer Scheme with a valid FSM code, or attending our Madrasa.

  • All children must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Under 2-year-olds travel free if kept on a lap.

  • Children attending our scheme without the FSM code and additional family members can attend for a small fee

  • All booking must be paid in advance to reserve a place.  A child must be regularly attending the summer scheme to be eligible to book a trip. After booking we will contact you to confirm how many seats have been booked for you.  We reserve the right to cancel a booking should the need arise.


London/Wales/Skegness: 

  • £5 per child attending summer scheme without FSM code. 

  • £10 for everybody else

Midlands Safari Park & Ride: 

  • £10 per child attending scheme without FSM Code

  • £15 child not attending scheme

  • £20 per adult

FAQ:

Who can attend the trips?

Trips are exclusively for children attending our Summer Scheme. Children with a valid Free School Meals (FSM) code or those attending our Madrasa can attend for free. Other children and family members can attend for a small fee.


How do I get an FSM code?

FSM (Free School Meals) codes are provided to eligible families through their schools. Please contact your child's school to obtain the code.


Can adults attend the trips?

Yes, all children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Adults need to pay the specified fee.


How do I pay the trip fee?

Details regarding the payment process will be provided after your booking form is received and reviewed.


Can I bring more than 6 family members?

Due to limited availability, we can only accommodate up to 6 persons per family per trip.


What if my child doesn't have an FSM code?

Children attending the scheme without an FSM code can still attend the trips by paying the designated fee.


Are the trips available to children not attending the Summer Scheme?

No


What happens if we cannot attend a booked trip?

Please inform us as soon as possible if you need to cancel. This allows us to accommodate others who may be on the waiting list.


Are meals provided during the trips?

Meals are not provided. Please bring your own packed lunch and snacks.
