Our annual awards ceremony recognises outstanding contributions made by staff from public sector organisations and ordinary members of the community who have made extra ordinary contributions.

COMMUNITY INSPIRATION AWARDS

Community Foundation runs a Holidays Activity Club through school holidays, providing children with fun activities, day trips and healthy food throughout the day.

We provide a range of social, educational and recreational programmes, including international youth exchange, residentials, summer scheme and weekly scouts group.

COMMUNITY SERVICES

Making improvements to the local area, for the betterment of the local community.

DEEN ACADEMY

Free after school education and scout activities for children aged 5-16 years old.

COMMUNITY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

We were selected by the Dept for Communities and Local Government to pilot the CED programme. We offer a range of programme to support economically disadvantaged people to improve their financial circumstances.

Money that has been raised to help fund projects, and services that are provided by Community Foundation.

YOUTH MENTORING PROGRAMME

Community Foundation started a Youth Mentoring Scheme, which provided mentors from various professional background to support and encourage

young people to make the right choices to manage their own future direction.

YOUTH ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

The annual Youth Achievement Awards set up by Community Foundation has been running since 2011. The awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of young people in the community, as well as encourage them to continuously develop themselves further and inspire and motivate others.

KICKSTART SCHEME

Community Foundation is taking part in the Kickstart Scheme, which was launched by the UK government to create a new 6-month job placements for young people who are currently on Universal Credit and at risk of long-term unemployment.
