RAINBOW DAY NURSERY

We offer full free time nursery places for children aged between two and four years old. We have the capacity for 50 children and open from 9.00am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday during term time.

ENGLISH CLASSES

Community Foundation will be providing weekly English classes for people with limited English speaking ability from May 2023

Hatch

Community Foundation will provide young people with the opportunity to gain NMW paid work for 4 weeks in the hospitality sector. You will also gain skills and knowledge to help with future career directions and understand the job market.

FREE DIGITAL SKILLS TRAINING

Community Foundation is providing a FREE Digital Skills Course for those with low digital skills.

APPRENTICESHIP SCHEME

We offer a range of apprenticeships to support young people and adults get experience, and a qualification while doing paid work. We offer NVQ Level 2 and 3 for Business and Early Years Child Care.

TRAINEESHIP

A work programme that helps to develop skills, knowledge, and experience to prepare for an apprenticeship.

MONEY SURGERY

Providing financial advice and resources to members of the local community based on their financial situation.

ADVICE SURGERY

Providing guidance and council to the members of the local community on a wide range of matters, with recommendations to future action.

ART CLASSES

This adult 12 week art course encouraged people to explore their creative side by learning to use different art materials and techniques. The course was run by John Henry Thomas (MA) a highly experienced artist with 20 years experience.

EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMME

A training programme to help build skills, abilities, knowledge, and experience to help people transition into the world of work.

SORTED YOUTH CLUB INITIATIVE

SORTED aims to take young people to take control of their future, by fostering in them eagerness and desire to achieve in life; confidence to take responsibility for their learning, and future career direction.

SOCIAL ENTERPRISE SCHEME

Business ventures that tackle a social or environmental challenge, by creating a positive change to the local communities and environment.

HENNA CLASSES

Providing Henna classes to women in the local community, teaching them how to:

Make a henna paste, make a henna cone
Learn how to draw unique Mendhi designs from basic to very detailed Mendhi designs.

WOMEN'S DEVELOPMENT WORK

A number of projects that helped to support the development of young women and adults.

JOB CLUB

We are holding a FREE jobs club every Monday at 2pm until 4pm. We aim to help the unemployed find themselves a job by enhancing their interview skills, CV writing, and build their confidence. We will be offering help, and support completing job applications, and understanding them.

FREE COURSES

Community Foundation will be running one day level 2 courses starting in November 2022
