Programmes Partnerships  Manager - Human Aid

Location - United Kingdom

The Programmes Partnerships team will manage all partner relationships and be responsible for timely, high quality programme delivery. Primarily responsible for programme strategy and proposal development, the team will also act as a primary interface between Muslim Aid and its partners and beneficiaries, as well as with donors and other programme stakeholders.

The Programmes Partnerships Manager will hold the direct relationships with partners, lead on partner contracting, monitor programme delivery (budgets and outcomes), convene and facilitate networks and provide a primary interface between the organisation and its partners.

Manage existing relationships and be responsible for identifying and developing new relationships with organisations with whom Muslim Aid’s work has operational and strategic synergy.

In consultation with the Global Programmes Manager and Head of International Programmes, identify opportunities for programmes that have high impact and respective partnership modality.

Collate and compile reports and produce data which feed into the Annual Report of Muslim Aid.

Coordinate and mobilise technical support for the programme partners, accompanying them and ensuring high quality of programming.

Assist and work with the Programme Finance unit in the development of project and partner budget allocations.

Ensure that partners submit narrative and financial quarterly, annual and final/completion project reports on time.

Manage our social media output on a day to day basis, including overseeing the work of the Social Media Officer, including:

  • Manage all social media marketing activities focusing on Twitter, Facebook, Flikr, LinkedIn, YouTube and others as appropriate.

  • Expand the reach of social media activities, e.g., tweeting, sharing, engaging, liking and increasing social reach

Head of Organisational Development - UK Islamic Mission

Location: Oldham

We are looking fora Head of Organisational Development to lead on the development, implementation and review of the Governance , Risk and Compliance (GRC) and People & Culture key frameworks and policies and provide strategic support to the relevant board committees. To liaise with external stakeholders such as regulators and lawyers as and when needed.

The ideal candidate should be educated to postgraduate level or equivalent and have Proven track record of Professional governance experience, with extensive knowledge and practical understanding of Company Law, Charity Law, and effective governance.

Applicants should be sympathetic to Islamic principles and values and have a solid understanding & experience of Muslim communities in the UK.

Community Fundraiser - Ummah Welfare Trust

Location: All Regions, England

The Community Fundraiser will be responsible for planning, organising and executing fundraising related events and activities to bring in funds for One Ummah’s life-saving campaigns worldwide.

 

Events will range from smaller scale (BBQ’s, car washes, family fun days, football/snooker tournaments, go karting etc.) to larger scale events (national and international charity challenges, annual dinners etc.).

 

The Community Fundraiser will also work on creating, building and strengthening relationships with key donors in their region. In addition, the Community Fundraiser will organise international deployments to take volunteers who will fundraise and deliver aid on the ground with their own hands.

Other fundraising tasks will also be delegated to the Community Fundraiser.

  • Plan, organise and execute at least two small fundraising events every month (such as car wash, family fun day, bazaar, BBQ, tournament etc.)

  • • Plan, organise and execute a small charity challenge every 4 months (such as a national bike ride or national mountain climb)

  • • Plan, organise and execute one large international charity challenge every year (such as European bike ride or international mountain climb)
