Purchase Ledger Clerk – Ummah Welfare Trust
Location - Bolton
The ideal candidate will be responsible for bookkeeping all of the charity’s purchase expenditure. You will process purchase orders, invoices and expenses, assist with cash management and bank reconciliation as part of the finance team. Accuracy and attention to detail will be key for this role.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES The Purchase Ledger Clerk will be responsible for the following areas:

Receiving, checking, and processing purchase invoices ensuring sign off in line with set schedules and processes

Posting and monitoring petty cash

Investigating purchase ledger queries

Assist in preparing the charity’s financial reports

Reconciling supplier statements

Liaising with suppliers

Maintaining the accuracy of vendor details

Processing staff and company expenses

Assisting with queries and reporting
-
Work out VAT payments
-
Check and reconcile supplier statements

Human Resources Assistant - Ummah Welfare Trust

Ummah Welfare Trust are searching for a HR assistant to support effective and efficient operations of the charity's Human Resource Department.
OVERALL DUTIES You will assist in the following activities:

Recruitment - contributing to interview panels, pre-recruitment checks, onboarding, keeping records of all recruitment activity

Training & Development – administering the logistics of staff training, keeping records of all staff training

Record keeping - Maintaining accurate and up-to-date paper, electronic & digital staff records

Performance Management - keeping records of all annual appraisals and performance conversations, assisting in the administrative aspects of disciplinary, grievance and employee casework

Time sheets and payroll - helping line managers to maintain staff attendance and leave records, participating in the payroll process to ensure that staff are paid correctly on time

Welfare, working culture & environment – helping to administer the charity’s health & safety systems and processes, assist in organising and setting up staff annual gatherings and team bonding events, suggesting improvements to the current HR functions/systems/processes

Chief Executive - Cambridge Muslim College

The Chief Executive will provide overall strategic vision, leadership, direction and management to the College and its staff. Reporting to the Board of Trustees on the operations, academic and financial status of the College, the Chief Executive will lead on the formulation, delivery and evaluation of an organisational vision and strategy, with the support of a dynamic staff. Senior Graphic Designer – Muslim Hands
Location: Nottingham OR London OR Remote
Muslim Hands are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to cover an initial twelve months of maternity leave, with the possibility of this period being extended. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating engaging graphics for different marketing channels such as email, blog, website, digital marketing, social media, as well as print brochures, letters and posters for events.
You will work in close collaboration with the communications and marketing teams on smaller weekly campaigns as well as major projects. You will be involved from conception to delivery.
Crucial for this role are great communication and time management skills and flexibility due to the possibility of shifting priorities. The Senior Graphic Designer will be able to come up with creative ideas and refine given briefings to ensure the best possible visual solutions for each project.
