Holiday Activity Club
During the school holidays, Community Foundation delivers a Holiday Activity Club in Lozells and Small Heath, Birmingham. The scheme is open for children aged 5-16 years old, priority is given to those in receipt of free school meals. Our session times are as follows; 9am-1:00pm for primary school aged children (5-10 years old) and 1:00pm-5:00pm for secondary aged children (11-16 years old).
We deliver sports activities, arts and crafts, enrichment and workshops. Alongside this, we provide a healthy breakfast and nutritious lunch to all children attending.
Our workshops provide insights for children and youth into different topics such as: anti-bullying, racism, anti-social behaviour, environmental awareness, crime, fire safety and more.
Children and family can also book day trips to places such as: West Midlands Safari Park, Drayton Manor Park, Barry Island Beach, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Ackers Adventure and much more.

FAQ:
Who can attend the scheme? Is there any eligibility?
The scheme is open to boys and girls aged 5-16 years old. However, children must be in receipt of free school meals to attend.
How do I register my child for the day trips?
A separate day trip booking form must be completed in order to register for the trips. Places are allocated on a first come first served basis.
Do I need to attend the trips with my child?
All children must be accompanied by at least one parent or guardian.
Is there a fee to attend the day trips?
The day trips are completely free for children who are registered and attend the scheme regularly. However, any additional friends of family members who wish to attend will need to pay a small fee.
Can I make payment for day trips on the day of the trip?
No, all payments must be settled in advance of the day trip.
What do I provide my child with daily?
Children must wear loose clothing, trainers (no open toed shoes)
