Community Foundation is organising a Black History Month Speaker Series and is seeking knowledgeable and experienced speakers to contribute.

Neighbourhood Watch Scheme

Community Foundation has set up a Scheme covering most of the Lozells Area. Residents of the area can become members, and help in making sure that the area is strong, clean, and a safe place to live.

Data Bank

Community Foundation, in partnership with Vodafone, are offering a free 6-month sim card. The free sim card is available for those not working and without access to the internet or those isolated.

Medina Food Bank

The cost-of-living crisis has had a severe impact on the most vulnerable people of our community, and we want to help by giving emergency food to members of the community that needs it the most.

Childhood Immunisation

Community Foundation ran immunisations workshops and conducted community surveys as part of research commissioned by Flourish, West Birmingham’s Community Health Collaborative.

A scheme where people can volunteer to help in different projects/activities in their local community.

Long Covid Engagement

Community Foundation is supporting BVSC Research to evaluate the impact of the Long Covid Community Engagement activity as part of Birmingham & Solihull NHS Post Covid Syndrome Service.

Sahara Housing Scheme

Provides good quality accommodation for Muslim women with diverse needs, in a culturally sensitive, supportive, and safe environment.

Bosnia

An educational trip to Bosnia in partnership with Remembering Srebrenica, giving individuals the chance to meet survivors and observe the work conducted by the International Commission.
