Easter Holiday Activity Scheme
Community Foundation will be running the Easter Holiday Activity Scheme for boys and girls aged 5-16 years old from 30 March to 2 April 2026 at Lozells and Small Heath. Children will enjoy a variety of activities and attend a fun day trip! Nutritious meals and snacks will be offered throughout the day. Register your child today!

Youth Diversion in City Centre
We will be running youth activities during February half term holiday. The programme will comprise of sporting activities, youth survey, advice, info & signposting tent. Our aim is to enhance young people user experience of the square and in doing so, address any anti-social concerns in and around the city centre.

Rainbow Day Nursery – Referral Reward Scheme!
Refer a child and earn £50 through our 2025/2026 New Referral Reward Scheme, designed to support families and ensure more children enjoy high-quality early education in a warm, welcoming nursery.

ESOL Classes
We are delighted to announce that we are offering FREE weekly ESOL classes to support individuals in improving their spoken and written English. These sessions are designed to help learners build confidence and develop essential language skills. Registration is now open for new participants.

Family Retreat 2025 – A Countryside Getaway for Families
The Community Foundation ran a three-day, activity-filled Family Retreat from Friday, 31st October to Sunday, 2nd November 2025, in the beautiful rural setting of YHA Chester Trafford Hall. The retreat was a wonderful experience for all who attended.

Summer Day Trips
Booking is now open for our Summer Scheme day trips. Places are limited and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. To join the trips, children must be registered on the Summer Scheme, attend regularly, show good behaviour, and be accompanied by a parent. This year’s trips include Great Yarmouth Beach – Wed 13 Aug, Three Shires Head Trek – Thu 21 Aug, and West Midlands Safari Park – Thu 28 Aug. The trip to Three Shires Head is free for children with valid FSM code. Fees apply for the other trips.

A Fun-Filled Easter Holiday Scheme for Children and Young People
In April, children across Birmingham enjoyed an unforgettable Easter holiday activity scheme which took place from the 14th to 17th April 2025. Boys and girls aged 5–16 took part in four action-packed days of sports, creativity, and adventure—all while making new friends and staying active.
