ESOL English
Requirements:
Beginners English Level 1 Duration: 8 weeks
We are currently running ESOL classes every Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Community Foundation.
These weekly English classes are designed for individuals with limited spoken English and are fun, engaging, and interactive, including:
Roleplay
Interactive activities games
Reading, writing and speaking
Discussions and debates

Advanced English Duration: 16 weeks
We are currently offering ESOL classes for individuals who are already able to hold a basic conversation in English but would like to improve their English and aim towards the Entry 3 Skills for Life qualification in speaking and listening.
The classes are held every Thursday from 10.00am to 12.00pm.
The focus is on speaking and understanding with greater accuracy and widening vocabulary and knowledge of language.
Activities include:
· Role play
· Discussion and debate
· Pair work
· More advanced reading and writing

No, the course is completely free.
Do I get a qualification upon completing the course?
No, this course is an informal community class and is not accredited. However, you will receive a participation certificate upon completion.
Where do the classes take place?
Classes take place in Birmingham city centre on Broad Street.
Is there an eligibility criteria?
There is no formal eligibility criteria. However, we do make learners aware that the class teaches very basic English.
Do the classes help with immigration and citizenship requirements?
No, our classes cannot be used to meet immigration and citizenship requirements as our course is not accredited. However, classes are beneficial in improving your English.
Are online classes available?
No, we currently only deliver face-to face classes.
