FAQ

Testimonials:

"I found Community Foundation through a traineeship- I completed my work experience element through Community Foundation for 3 months. All the staff are lovely. Community Foundation helped me grow in confidence with answering telephone calls and greeting visitors. Thank you, Community Foundation."

Brooke Newall (Work Placement/Trainee)

"The summer scheme team leader went above and beyond what I could have expected from someone supporting Aaisha during her first voluntary work experience. Her approach helped make the experience positive, meaningful and enjoyable for Aaisha, while also giving her the confidence to develop her skills in a supportive environment.

I could not have hoped for a better first voluntary work experience for Aaisha. The opportunity has been extremely valuable to her, and I am genuinely pleased that she was able to have this experience with such a caring, supportive and professional team.

Aaisha herself has said that she had a really good time at Lozells Play Scheme and would very much like to do it again if the opportunity were available in the future. I think that speaks volumes about how comfortable, welcomed and valued she felt during her time there."
