Holiday Activity Scheme
Community Foundation runs Holiday Activity Scheme for boys and girls aged 5-16 years old during school holidays offering children free fun sports and activities, day trips and healthy breakfast and lunch. It usually takes place at our venues in Lozells and Small Heath.
Children enjoy a variety of activities, including sports, talent competitions, arts and crafts, and energisers. They also learn about nutrition and healthy eating through cooking activities. In addition to daily physical activities we also have classroom based activities, including painting, drawing, board games, origami, and more, fostering creativity and teamwork.
Requirements:
Aged 5–16 years old
In receipt of Free School Meals (FSM)
Willing to participate in daily activities

FAQ:
Who can attend the scheme? Is there any eligibility?
The scheme is open to boys and girls aged 5-16 years old. Priority is given to children in receipt of free school meals.
Do I need to attend the day trips with my child?
All children must be accompanied by at least one parent or guardian.
Is there a fee to attend the day trips?
There is no fixed price for the day trips, as it depends on the activities involved. You will be informed about the specifics when the next HAF is scheduled.
What do I provide my child with daily?
Children must wear loose clothing, trainers (no open toed shoes)
