Holiday Activity Scheme
EASTER HOLIDAY ACTIVITY SCHEME
Community Foundation will be running a Holiday Activity Scheme for boys and girls aged 5-16 years old during the Easter period. The scheme will run from Monday 30th March 2026 to Thursday 2nd April 2026. The scheme will offer sessions tailored to different age groups. Sessions will run as follows:
Lozells:

9am-1pm for children aged 5-16 years old, with halal lunch provided
Small Heath:
Darul Uloom High School, 525 Coventry Road, B10 0LL
9am-12.45pm for 5-9 year old with halal breakfast provided
1.15pm-4.45pm for 10-16 years old with halal lunch provided
Free snacks will be provided throughout the day!
Children will be provided with nutritious cooked hot breakfast and/or lunch daily, as well as snacks throughout the day.
Children enjoy a variety of activities, including sports, talent competitions, arts and crafts, and energisers. They also learn about nutrition and healthy eating through cooking activities. In addition to daily physical activities we also have classroom based activities, including painting, drawing, board games, origami, and more, fostering creativity and teamwork.

Easter Day Trip (West Midlands Safari Park)
Booking is now open for our Easter Holiday Activity Scheme day trip to West Midlands Safari Park. Seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration closing date is 22nd March. You can register by completing the Day Trip Form. To be eligible for the trip:
Children will need to be registered on our Easter Activity Scheme
Attend the scheme daily
Demonstrate good behaviour
Engage in all activities
Must be accompanied by a parent
We will get in touch with parents who have completed the registration form and children who have filled the above 4 conditions.
The trip planned for this Easter will be at West Midlands Safari Park and Rides (Thursday 2nd April 2026) from 09:30am to 6pm.
There is a £20 fee for every participant, both for children and adults, with the exception of a free pass for toddlers younger that 2 years old.
Bellboat - Ackers Adventure
Secondary children aged 10 years old and above who will be registered in the Small Heath Scheme have the opportunity to participate in Bellboat Riding at Ackers Adventure on Thursday 1st April 2026 at 1pm, should they be unable to attend the Easter Day Trip. We will meet at the Small Heath Scheme Venue and walk there together.
Children must be registered on our Easter holiday scheme and attend the session daily to be eligible to attend the Bell boat session.
This is a free activity. Children will be selected after they register. We appreciate you understand that there is limited space, which will be allocated on first come first served basis.

FAQ:
Who can attend the scheme? Is there any eligibility?
The scheme is open to boys and girls aged 5-16 years old. Priority is given to children in receipt of free school meals.
Do I need to attend the trips with my child?
All children must be accompanied by at least one parent or guardian.
Is there a fee to attend the day trips?
There is a fee of £20 per person attending.
Can I make payment for day trips on the day of the trip?
No, all payments must be settled in advance of the day trip.
What do I provide my child with daily?
Children must wear loose clothing, trainers (no open toed shoes)
