Talent Quest: Be seen. Be heard.


Do you have a talent that you can show or for people to hear? We are on a quest to find young people up to the age of 30 with a talent that deserves recognition.


Your talent could be in singing, dancing, music, spoken word artists, comedy, magic, cultural performance, street entertainment or physical skills like acrobatics, Martial Arts etc., or any other talent you are ready to showcase!


Entry is free, simply record a 60 second video of your talent and upload it to along with your application form and video on https://tinyurl.com/2s343vbk .

All finalists will:


• Join a pool of paid talent for performance opportunities at events across the country

• Be part of a peer network to support each other and further develop your talent

• Receive a FREE 6-month Vodafone SIM card with: - 40GB data per month - Unlimited calls - Unlimited texts


Winners will additionally:


• Perform in front of an audience of 400 people at the 14th Community Inspiration Awards in Birmingham in September 2026

• Be entered as a finalist in the Cultural Heritage & Arts Award

FAQ:

1. What if my talent doesn't fit into the listed categories?


That's absolutely fine. The categories provided are examples only. We're interested in discovering a wide range of talents, so if you have a unique skill or performance that you're proud of, we'd love to see it.


2. Does my video need professional filming or editing?


No. Your video does not need to be professionally filmed or edited. A clear recording on a smartphone is perfectly acceptable. We are interested in your talent and potential, not the production quality of your video.


3. Can I perform as part of a group?


Yes. Individual performers and groups are welcome to apply. If you are applying as part of a group, please ensure that your application identifies a group representative.


4. What should I include in my 60-second video?


Your video should focus on demonstrating your talent as clearly and effectively as possible. Use the time to showcase your strengths and give the judges a genuine sense of your abilities and performance style.


5. What happens after I submit my application?


Once applications close, all submissions will be reviewed by the selection panel. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted with further information about the next stage of the process.
