Barclays Life Skills is a programme designed for individuals to develop skills, build confidence, meet new people, gain financial and employability skills and more. There is running theme of healthy eating and nutrition, alongside modules surrounding: overcoming setbacks, managing debt, CV writing, interview skills, communication skills and more,
The aim of the programme is to equip participants will essential life skills paving the way to volunteering, education, or employment opportunities.

Our second Life Skills session took place.We focused on goals and action planning. We had a blast learning about goal-setting terms and how to make plans for success.
Plus, we got creative with some origami fun! Each learner crafted their own origami box and filled it with inspiring goals.

How long is this programme?
The average service user takes part in 6 sessions, delivered across 6 weeks.
Do I have to attend all the sessions?
Although, all sessions will be of benefit to you and provide you with essential knowledge and skills, it is not mandatory to attend all. You may attend the ones you think you may find beneficial.
What are my next steps after I have completed the programme?
After the programme, you will have developed a skills set that will enable you to seek education, training or employment opportunties.
What do modules involve?
We deliver modules surrounding debt, budgeting, communication skills, returning to work and more. Our sessions are delivered through fun activities, discussions, quizes, games, roleplay, written activities and more.
